Description
Junior 1000 Balsa RC Trainer Plans
The Junior 1000 is an original 1000 mm (39.4″) balsa RC trainer designed by AviPlanes for simple construction and relaxed, stable flying.
The standard version uses rudder and elevator, allowing the wing to remain simple and lightweight. For builders who want additional control, the plans also provide the option of adding ailerons.
Junior 1000 uses traditional balsa and plywood construction and can be powered by a .09 cu in / 1.5 cc glow engine or adapted for electric power.
For an approximately 800 g ready-to-fly electric model, a good starting point is a 900–1100 Kv brushless outrunner, 3S 1800–2200 mAh LiPo, 30A ESC and approximately 10×5 propeller.
