Fimo RC Glider – Build Log

The Fimo launched cleanly with a gentle hand toss. It glides smooth and stable — no bad habits. Great for beginners and super relaxing for experienced pilots. Flight time depends on lift, but even on flat land, a quick toss gives a nice float.

The Fimo is an easy, rewarding build. Light enough to skip registration in most countries, and simple enough for a first-time builder. The laser-cut plans make construction fast and accurate — perfect for weekend fun.

    1. Hy Nadal!
. To insert the wing reinforcement, you will need to cut the first rib near the spar and glue it. To prevent the rib from detaching from the leading edge, use a small triangular piece as reinforcement.

  2. Hi Aviplans, what sort of battery do you use for this plane. I have a bunch of 1S 350mah HV batteries, is it too small?

    1. Hello Richard,

That should be fine. I have flown it with a 350 mAh battery, and the flight time is fine. I believe a 450 mAh battery would also fit, allowing you to enjoy a longer flight time, although I think 350 mAh is sufficient for a glider.
